Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance

There is a festival of films in the coming months to satisfy even the most hardened fans of comics, the avengers, the re-start of Spiderman and the last part of the new Batman trilogy are all released this year. This past weekend I went to see the first cartoon movie to be released this year, "Ghost Rider - The Spirit of Vengeance" I was very glad I know a lot of effort has in the decision of the below, the directors Mark Neveldine, Brian Taylor (Jonah Hex) are known formaking films and a visually impressive cast of actors that include a small role toChristopher Lambert it seemed like I was in for a treat. The story follows theflaming skull and its human host Johnny Blaze once again played by Nicolas Cage in Eastern Europe where he must protect a child of the devil himself, if he can manage that it was promised to have exorcised the demon from him onceand for all.

As an entity of the ghost rider should scare us all a demon that feeds on the souls of the wicked and sees no difference between the man who has stolen something and the man who killed a million people in the eyes of rider evil is evil. The comic does a great job in showing this and Johnny Blaze in the struggleto control him, again a complexity of a living demon in us all, but Hollywood is 0 for 2 when it is get it through on the big screen. Movies these days tend to come along three, but I can only hope that something this evil away before they are allowed to poison the screen with a third offer, perhaps a return to drawing board to re-boot is required.
